However, the equitable distribution of the income generated by countries to their citizens is also seen as an important problem today. In this study, ARDL analysis is used to determine the long-run relationship between variables by using the data of Turkey for the years 2002-2022. In the study, Gini index is used as the dependent variable, economic growth as the independent variable and trade openness ratio of countries is used to represent foreign trade. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the variables move together in the long run. While there is a statistically significant relationship between all variables, there is a negative relationship between economic growth and Gini index and a positive relationship between trade openness and Gini index.
Omer Yilmaz Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of International Economics, Finance and Trade https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journaleft.com/index.php/pub/article/view/22 Sun, 30 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0300 REKABET STRATEJİLERİ, İNOVASYON KÜLTÜRÜ VE YETENEKLERİN İŞLETME PAZAR PERFORMANSI ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ https://journaleft.com/index.php/pub/article/view/19
Macro and micro changes in today's economic structure, globalization movements, and continuous advances in information and communication technology have led to the patterning and diversification of consumers' demands. Very few studies have been conducted on the concept worldwide. In our country's literature, no original scientific research on Micromanagement has been found. In Turkey, the conceptual framework of Micro Management has often been evaluated within Management styles and tried to be interpreted as toxic management, narcissistic management and similar concepts. This rapidly increasing trade liberalization has brought about concerns about its impact on the labor market. Although the positive effects of trade liberalization on economic growth have been proven, this has caused concerns in developed and developing countries.

Therefore, this study investigates the relationship between trade openness and employment rate in Turkey from 1990 to 2022. The study employs the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) technique. The results of the study indicate that trade openness has a significant negative impact on the employment rate in Turkey. This suggests that trade openness has not generated sufficient employment opportunities to absorb the growing labor force in Turkey, contributing to the decline in employment rates.
Bushra Hakki Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of International Economics, Finance and Trade https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journaleft.com/index.php/pub/article/view/18 Sun, 30 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0300
